I’m guessing that his lawyers started going over what would happen to their contracts if he did that.

He’s such a pathetic mess of a human being. He should be ejected from Tesla and SpaceX before he does anymore damage. He’s going to ruin peoples lives when there are inevitably layoffs as his companies suffer for his public meltdown.

  3. This is all theater from two people who constantly lie. Look at what else is happening.

Any sane country would be having conversations about nationalizing space-x right now. It is intolerable to allow such an important national asset as Space-X to stay in the hands of such volatile, untrustworthy leadership.

  5. We live in the stupidest fucking timeline. Can someone please go back and burn that goddamn sports almanac already?

  6. I think Elon’s been threatend with prosecution. The same he was afraid of if a democrat had won.

  7. Can the boards of tesla and space x vote him out of the company already.

No apparently he own 54% of stocks and 78% of voting rights.

    Tesla can still cut ties.

Was really stupid of him to say this. Though in a way I’m glad he was impulsive enough to say it. He just overtly demonstrated how relying on a billionaire for the US’s access to space is a national security issue.

Always has been a huge issue with SpaceX and Starlink but people in the neoliberal era have just been in denial about this. The next government needs to move US space operations away from dependence on SpaceX and Starlink to the greatest degree possible.

Yeah Elon and trump aren’t what some would say stable..
    It’s an immature theatrical performance.

Thank goodness. Would be horrible to lose such a beautiful vessel to politicking

  11. Pathetic leaders. They have a voice and ahow everyone how childish they are.Its an absolute idiocracy right now.

And this is why we can’t rely on corporations to take over important services.

MACO? Typical of narcissists, say something rash, pull it back when they’re about to face consequences.

Taco and Maco. The story of the mental nutjob conman and the mental nutjob druggy bickering in the sandbox. What a pathetic pair.

Interesting how someone in the administration likened Zelensky and Putin to kids, with this shit going on right in their yard.

What a world where hairyballsack1488 can influence the future of space travel. I should get on there and ask Elon to send a probe to Alpha Centauri.

Honestly feels like we stumbled into the weirdest alternate timeline and just decided to stay. Like we missed the portal back and now we’re all improv actors in a bad sci-fi reboot 🫢

This is bottom tier journalism. No conclusion about him walking back his previous statement can be made from a twitter comment that is more likely sarcasm and trolling than anything else. This kind of garbage article gets written once and then everyone runs with the non-information for a week.

Because neither of these guys are actually doing anything to each other, I’m kind of skeptical this is even real.

  20. Playful_Interest_526 on

Of course he did. His lawyers told him that would be the perfect excuse to nationalize SpaceX.

  21. The-Jesus_Christ on

Yep not surprising. Musk will basically rescind everything he has said and proceed to go back to licking Trump’s boots within the week.
