“Seize the moment”, American expert: Kosovo should not expect changes from above

Kosovo must seize the diplomatic moment, according to the renowned American scholar on developments in Balkan affairs, Alon Ben-Meir.

Through a reaction on the social network X, Alon Ben-Meir points out that engagement, not exclusion, is the key to strengthening relations between the United States and the Balkans.

“Kosovo must transform structure into strategy. The United States may restructure its foreign affairs office in the Balkans, but its engagement with Kosovo has not changed. Now is the time to deepen ties, not wait for change to come from above,” Ben-Meir writes.
