I guess there are probably high import taxes and this place has imported it from the EU or US or Japan

Probably cause they aren’t officially sold in Georgia yet and these guys are flipping them 2nd hand.

  3. Hey, I work at the store and yeah unfortunately that’s the price and is going to be the price in every single store that sells it. It was so much trouble getting Nintendo Switch 2 in the first place because people were buying everything in bulk. Plus so many taxes and such so yeah. Not defending them because it is a ridiculous price but if you’re expecting to find it anywhere cheaper in Georgia then you’re out of luck. I don’t think you’ll save much either by bringing it here through US.

  4. In Georgia new tech almost has double the price at launch, you should see new iphone prices, its predatory

Nintendo being greedy on top of vat+customs+import fee. not worth imo, wait until the heat’s down and the prices are more sane !

  6. Better to get a family member/friend to purchase while overseas and post it to you.

  7. Nah I’m, getting it from US with 500-600$ + 18% vat and ~30 lari delivery via camex/inex or similar stuff
