Masaza cup organizing committee will inspect these different playgrounds before making a final communication.
I thank teams upon the efforts into 2025 Masaza cup competition, going through the process of organizing their teams. We have received 18 submissions of playgrounds from all 18 counties. Now this week we are going to inspect those ground to observe whether they are of the standard of the Masaza cup and if the submitted ground fails to beat standards, a team shall have either to upgrade of to change the venue.

 Kyadondo, Bululi and Kooki have expressed interest to switch their home grounds from those used in the 2024 edition.
As Buluuli transfers to Mijeera from Kakooge, Kyadondo moves to the Hamz Stadium (Nakivubo war memorial grounds) from Hormisdallen Gayaza as Kooki intends to move to Kasambya play ground from last season’s Rakai PTC and St James Kyotera.
Buddu will host from Kitovu Sports arena, the venue for the official opening match against Gomba on 21st June 2025.

Traditionally, the grand finale and third place matches are played at the Mandela National stadium, Namboole.

Over the Buganda Masaza Cup tournament has been credited for breeding a crop of talented footballers, administrators, referees, media persons and other stakeholders.
Only players who have not yet played for the Uganda senior national team, Uganda Cranes and the FUFA Big League are permitted to play in this championship.
