Fans Are Living for ‘Playful’ Red Carpet Brendan Fraser Video: ‘He’s Such a Golden Retriever’ originally appeared on Parade.

Celebrities’ fortune and fame comes with a price which is the constant scrutiny under the public eye. Some choose to push through and ignore it, some go to great lengths to avoid it, and some just have fun with it. A recent video of actor Brendan Fraser, 56, proves he is without a doubt having as much fun with it as he can.

Fraser was spotted just before walking the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival at the Requiem for a Dream 25th anniversary screening on June 10. After locking eyes with the camera, Fraser played a “peek-a-boo” game with the camera man, ducking behind a person to playfully block the shot. Judging by the mile-wide grin on Fraser’s face, it was clear it was all done in good fun.

Fans could not get enough of the wholesome moment and were truly delighted to see the actor “living his best life” in the limelight.

“He must be protected at all costs,” demanded one fan. “That was the cutest!”

“His resurgence is the most deserved thing,” proclaimed another. “I will never hate on that man! He is literally the best and deserves ALL of the good things!”

Fraser had a huge revival after his leading role in the 2022 film The Whale garnered critical acclaim and earned him an Academy Award. His career took a hiatus after several personal issues cropped up, including a divorce and making a sexual assault allegation against the former president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Philip Berk, in 2003.

Fraser is slated to play Dwight D. Eisenhower in the upcoming D-Day movie Pressure that chronicles the tense days preceding the Normandy Beach landings.
