This excuse for a human needs to see the inside of a prison cell for a good amount of time. Absolute leech.

    > Charles Samek KC, representing PPE Medpro, said the gowns did comply with the required standards for sterility, and **the DHSC had approved the process** before it awarded the contract.

A similar thing happened with masks. A tender was put out and contracts were signed with suppliers but the Government changed the requirements because they found the original had some technical differences they decided they did want.

You’re then in the situation where the supplier has fulfilled their contract but the customer can’t use the product because it doesn’t meet the revised specification. Liability needs to be apportioned and that’s not easy to fight.

Because of the rush to get anything in and with manufacturers cancelling orders to sell to higher offers the global market was a mess, the whole world was scrambling to get hold of what they could. That sometimes meant what would normally be rigid requirements were eased in some cases.

We already fucking know this. She’s been told to pay the money back, and she hasn’t.

Arrest her and seize all her assets.

Will never happen but an unobstructed look at BoJo’s finances around that time would possibly make for interesting content.

Dude used a pandemic to enrich friends/contacts…would be interesting to see if he got payments as a result.

  5. Its now been over four and a half years since the first reports about this started hitting the press. It is genuinely nuts they’ve been allowed to walk around scott free this entire time.

These absolute fucking psychopaths saw a moment of ***national existential crisis*** and their ***first*** thought as a person of influence in a position of power was not “what can I do?” but “how much can I scam?”. And these fucking cretins have the absolute fucking nerve to call themselves patriots and drape themselves in a flag.

This will never not make my blood boil. Its just so totally beyond the pale I think a lot of people haven’t quite grasped the magnitude of it.

What an absolute disgrace. She is rich and powerful, so , obviously she’ll get away with it. The gap between rich and poor just keeps growing bigger.

  7. So how did Gove, who mediated this deal, go to the House of Lords instead of prison? That whole Conservative government should be rounded up and throw in prison for life.

    She wasn’t the only one.

I don’t feel much sympathy towards her at all, but she seems to be the “fall guy”.
