Germany’s final EURO 2025 tune-up was a scoring romp. The DFB Frauen dropped six goals, all in the first half, over a hapless Austrian side on June 3rd to roll into the summer’s tournament on a high.

Bayern Munich’s Sydney Lohmann got things going in about 15 seconds with a rifled shot from the back post after a cross from Selina Cerci (Hoffenheim).

In the 9th minute, Klara Bühl drove into the box and fired a ferocious shot that was deflected into the path of Lea Schüller, who headed into an empty net to complete the Bayern link-up. Bühl later supplied a cross that Cerci latched onto centrally to drive home Germany’s third…and it did not get better from there.

Bühl scored again within the box at the half-hour mark for the fourth, and Lohmann launched a stunning scorcher from range for the fifth. Laura Freigang (Eintracht Frankfurt) tucked home the sixth and final goal of the match before the half-time whistle blew, finishing off her own seconds.

The Germany women have now won their two June matches by a combined score of 10-0. Germany will kick off its EURO 2025 campaign on July 4th vs. Poland.
