Here is a new interesting interview with Fraser Cain. Fraser discusses his upbringing into science, proudest career moments, fine tuning, black holes, as well as his case for no aliens. He also gets into his favorite scifi media outlets. Fraser is a class act and was awesome to hear his insight and experience. Very humble and bright guy.
If you don't know Fraser Cain, he is a Canadian science communicator, best known as the founder and publisher of Universe Today. This is a website dedicated to space and astronomy news. He has a passion for making complex scientific concepts accessible to the public, and his work has helped thousands of people develop a deeper understanding of the universe. He is also the host of the Universe Today Podcast, where he discusses a wide range of topics related to space exploration, astrophysics, and astronomy with experts in the field. I believe he has been in this field since the late 90s.
Very fascinating interview with space journalist and the founder of Universe Today, Fraser Cain

His interviews on the Universe Today podcast are just fantastic. In-depth, long form interviews with the actual researchers involved. Since his audience is space science enthusiasts, he can get really in depth and technical. Highly recommended!
I know I am not the only one who read this as Dr Frasier Crane.
🎶Hey baby I hear the greys a-callin’, 🎶 tossed SCIFs and disclosure pains🎶
I just wanted to say that I listen to many, many physics and cosmology podcasts and I absolutely LOVE Fraser Cain. He is a fantastic communicator. His ability to make these topics accessible to the average person is as good as it any. He has great cadence and a soothing voice,I find myself going back to the Universe Today pod again and again for my night time listening. Seriously, this guy is the bomb.com, you cannot go wrong with his content. Please support his projects, he deserves to be around forever
The statements made by the guest in relation to the evolving discourse around alien disclosure are either disingenuous or – giving him the benefit of the doubt – merely uninformed to the level of foolishness, given the confidence with which he says things that are both factually untrue and seriously unsophisticated. His argument – that yes there were these congressional hearings and Pentagon investigations into UAPs and “nothing came of it” – demonstrates a lack of knowledge about both the many new whistleblowers (and sitting politicians/senior officials) who have come forward since those hearings with new and credible information and analysis, and the vast and richly documented history of disinformation and strategic secrecy that has accompanied any official investigation into this topic. Plus the essential and obvious problem with using Fermi’s alleged ‘paradox’ is that his ‘proof’ is merely proof that he can’t find the thing he’s looking for. It’s not proof it’s not there. Maybe he’s looking for the wrong thing. Or looking the wrong way. Or in the wrong place. Or using the wrong measurement tools. Or maybe it knows how not to be found. etc. etc. A child could see through that reductionist take.
