I saw Chris Hadfield today in the Bord Gáis theatre in Dublin. Amazing show and such an interesting person. If you get the opportunity I'd highly recommend it.
Oh, so cool, I love Chris Hadfield (not that I’ve seen him in the flesh even though he’s my countryman haha)
I spot his guitar there in the corner! You got treated to at least a song! His original composition? 😀

I met him at a dark sky festival in Jasper. Core memory to be sure.

I got to see a Hoot Gibson talk long ago and the thing I remember most (besides him being like 70 and still racing planes) is him talking about them all getting Russian language training and the only thing he remembered was, “Я плохо говорю по-русски, и я ничего не знаю.”
Translation: I speak Russian poorly and I know nothing.

If anyone is a “real” astronaut, Chris Hadfield is definitely one of them. Not Jeff Bezos or Katy Perry.

His book An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth is a fun read too!
