Their entire argument is that ‘they’ve been lied to’ …. but even assuming that “everyone with any sense and the entirety of academia related to climate science” is lying about the climate changes (which they aren’t!!) … the outcome of everyone moving away from fossil fuels is that..
– there’s a massive improvement in air quality and therefore health
– cheaper and more resilient energy resources (ultimately), that’s generated at home. Wind, Solar, Nuclear.. etc.
– less money going out and hoarded by the likes of OPEC
– Keeping our **finite** oil reserves so it can be used carefully for important plastics and polymers.. rather than just burning it!
… so if they are lying… they are heroes! There’s zero argument whatsoever for just burning stuff when we don’t need to.

The policies Farage is parroting only served to get Trump elected, they are having a disastrous effect on states and on people’s lives and it will be a long time before America recovers. We do not need Reform doing the same to the UK.
the biggest thing I hear from climate deniers is “This has happened before and will continue to happen” Yeah you are right on that one…it does happen naturally but over 10000s of years, things on the planet have a chance to adapt to the changes. What humans have done, is sped the entire process up to happen within a 100yrs, we’re in the sixth mass extinction now. So many want us to dig and drill again…our air quality is classed as toxic, air pollution is one of the biggest killers today and you want to make that worse. Is clean air, water, food not something these people care about at all. Constantly think its all about taxing us even more…really? the ones in charge want to tax us more for going green…if that was the case we wouldn’t be at the stage we are now still fighting for governments to do something, if they really wanted to tax us to hell, we’d have gone green decades ago.

How can you deny climate change, even the last 10 years you’ve seen the weather be more extreme.
And growing up since the 80s you don’t even see bugs on your car windows anymore. Used to be thousands on a long journey stuck to your window, now you don’t see any.
It’s getting hotter and hotter, colder and colder and wetter and wetter. You’d have to be really thick to not notice things are changing.
It might be natural, it might be caused by factories. Either way, it’s obvious that the climate is changing.
