Confusing title and key. These aren’t state lands, they’re federal public lands.
Edit: These lands aren’t available for sale. They’re potentially eligible for sale. Also, citing your data sources is absolutely critical here.

what i’d really like is for someone with experience reading this legislation to ballpark the actual projected sales. by my reading, the maximum might be 0.75% of both BLM and USFS land total over 5 years (close to 2M acres), or that same maximum percentage every 60 days. there is no practical pathway to administratively handle that many sales every 60 days, so i think the legislation is prompting total auction listings over 5 years of 2M acres or less.
if however they actually somehow were to list 0.75% of the “disposable” lands every 60 days and somehow sell every auction slate (again, this would be physically/administratively impossible, but let’s imagine) that would leave approximately 20 auctions during the remainder of trump term #2. and would total a maximum of 1.9M * 20 = ~38M acres.
again i want to reiterate that such a massive sell-off would be impossible given the language in the bill, and the nature of our court system. but i could see them hitting the 1M acre mark after 3.5 years. realistically the republicans don’t even aim for that — they want maybe on the order of ~100k acres that theyve had their eyes on for years in utah, idaho, and wyoming, and this hugely exaggerated power play is their way of covering up the much smaller (but still enormous) play they’ve been aiming at for the past decade.
though the pages on mining and logging leases are likely to fly more “under the radar” but cause potentially more damage.

I imagine a lot of that could be turned into beautiful state and national parks 🙁
Good visual though, especially the bar chart on the left. I had no idea it was such a large percentage of some states.

Here’s how to keep this from happening:
Install the free 5calls app. It will help you call your Rep and Senators, and will give you a script to read (pick the sale of public land issue near the bottom of the big beautiful bill topics).
If you can, call every day, especially if you have a Rep or Senators that are (R).

It’s not just about how much but where the land is. Everyone that I know that camps, skis, climbs, hunts and fishes does it in one of the areas for sale. This is an issue more that 75% of Americans are against and yet it is still in the bill. Call your reps if they’re Republican and let them know how irate you are.
