  1. Slow clap. Well done guys. Big pat on the back.

I don’t think many would argue that Palestine doesn’t deserve some support, I think even less would argue that the Israeli government bombing civilians including children is justified.

But doing shit like this and generally acting like a bunch of unhinged fascists (while claiming to be “left wing”) is just going to trigger the backfire effect in a collosal way and literally no one will support your cause.

I’m starting to think that these groups are secretly against the cause they pretend to fight for. Still convinced Just Stop Oil actually wanted there to be more global warming and came up with an ideal strategy to make people skeptical or indifferent about climate change.

They’re lucky to be alive. I think in many countries they would have been shot on site

  3. Better late than never. It’s absolutely staggering this group engaged in terrorist like activities, was given the benefit of the doubt and then went ahead and did this.

Rightly so. These are dangerous vandals and clear extremists. We do not tolerate terrorists in our midst

There’ll still be people saying “they have the right to protest” as if calling something a “protest” gives you the right to do whatever you want.

  6. Because that will fix it…. Years of under investment in defence means that a group on scooters can force their way onto our bases. FFS

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Attacking the UK armed forces was a very very stupid idea.

  8. Have we considered addressing the issues causing people to keep doing this sort of shit, rather than just banning them?

They’ve always been a pretty iffy terrorist cosplay, could become terrorists any second organisation. I’m surprised it took this long tbh.

Moved quicker to designate Palestine action as terrorists as it did to sanction Ben Givir and Smotrich

  11. I don’t know if I agree with this. Are we equating vandalism to terrorism? Are we really saying this group is on par with Al Qaeda and IS?

  12. Honestly, I can’t even defend them.

What the fuck did you think was going to happen, exactly? The *RAF* to just tut and get scrubbing? They’re lucky they didn’t get domed.

  13. Proscribing Palestine Action won’t do much. As I understand it, it’s a very loose support network with no leadership or members to speak of. Essentially just bullet board to connect disparate groups opposing the violence of the Israeli military.

The website will come down and the different activists will need to be careful about how and what they communicate, but if you listen to [interviews with them](https://youtu.be/48HsbNy4cgQ?si=j1jVqCynlEs9ZTq5) they are already aware that their communications are monitored.
