Now, those Germans may have been following methods used by earlier groups, so we can’t give all of the “credit” to the Third Reich.
Thing is, it was effective, for a while at least. The current Russian leader is in a crap situation. There was a time, a couple of years ago, when he could have withdrawn his invasion, regroup and make better plans AND still hold power. He’s thoroughly fucked now: so his only real option is to keep grinding away–maybe there will be a breakthrough. Start to get those T-34s in working order, because they’re getting reactivated soon.
