HELENA, Mont. — The Montana Department of Commerce has awarded nearly $500,000 through its Opportunities in Rural Economies grant program, supporting economic development across the state.

In northeast Montana, Blend 10 Properties in Glasgow received $10,000 for a preliminary engineering report, while the Judith River Foundation in Malta was awarded $30,000 for a preliminary architectural report.

In Lewistown, Spika Design & Manufacturing will use $30,000 in funding to prepare architectural and engineering plans for a facility expansion.

The ORE program helps rural communities advance planning projects that support job creation and long-term economic growth.
