Thank you and it’s amazing. Back when the lanuches aired live on broadcast. It was ok if I missed the bus.

  2. I miss Shuttle, it’s one of my inspirations for working at NASA. Our work on Artemis is cool, but it’s hard not to see how commercialism (SpaceX) has changed the face of orbital payload deliveries. hard to argue for a new expensive shuttle program.

  3. The recently released documentary on Nat Geo and Disney+ called ‘Sally’ was fantastic. A great overview of a true American hero and pioneer.

I thought I had also cried all the tears I could for Challenger, but hearing how Sally reacted to the disaster and investigation which led to her leaving NASA was heartbreaking.

This museum is pretty shuttle focus but not solely. The host will do “On This Day” historic summaries/deep dives of space operations, exploration, endeavors and technicalities. And covers who and what is in space that day of the show.

The school bus was all abuzz with the news. There was hopeful talk of parachutes. We gathered in the library and watched the footage as the teachers stood somberly behind us.
