Melos Zenunaj has left Drita after a successful season, where he was part of the team that won the Kosovo championship title.

The 24-year-old central defender made the decision to leave, as he wants to have more space and a bigger role in the new team, even though he had a contract for two more years with the Gjilan team.

Zenunaj’s future still remains unclear, however there is no lack of interest in him from many clubs.

He has offers from several teams in the Kosovo Super League, the Albanian Premier League and the North Macedonian Championship.

In Macedonia, Struga and Rabotnicki have expressed interest in bringing him to their teams and have already contacted him.

Meanwhile, he is also in talks with three teams from the Albanian elite and two teams from the Kosovo Super League.

Last season with Drita, Zenunaj played 17 matches and contributed to achieving the club’s objectives.

Despite his young age, he has a long experience in Kosovar football, having been part of teams such as Dukagjini, Flamurtari, Liria and Kukësi. /Telegraph/
