My dad was in grad school in the 80s for petroleum engineering in Texas. He asked his Norwegian friend if they also did all sorts of college sports shirts and “school spirit”. He brought this.

Looks similar to the UiB logo of today iirc.
It’s not very common to wear uni shirts in Norway. I see some people with University branded tote bags sometimes.
