Fun fact, in just the 10 or so minutes between me making the graph and posting this the signatures went from 560,469 to 562,092

that doesn’t mean it will be enacted into law. There was at least one initiative that gained 1 million signatures and was rejected by EU (abortion ban).
European Court of Justice said that European Commission has the right to veto any initiative it doesn’t want.
