Don’t commit acts of sabotage against military assets if you don’t want counter terror police knocking your door down

Mental that it’s harder to break into Glastonbury than a RAF base. No wonder the government is hysterically overreacting. They must be so fucking embarrassed

Bet they are gonna be really shocked when they get long prison sentences and think it’s unfair.

Good. Fuck around and find out as the kids are so fond of saying.

Hopefully it’s whoever was responsible for implementing physical security there.

Used to live there in the 80s. Just outside the gates. Like one or two streets away at the time (probably loads now as they were building shedloads at the time). Me and my friends used to just go to the gate with our swimming gear in a towel, and they would let us straight through to use the swimming pool on the base. No ID needed. Every day in the summer hols. Probably knew our fathers, but still…

who knew the large FAFO sign on the front of a military base actually means what is says.

This was such a stupid move on their part. As far as we know it’s just Russian backed useful idiots sabotaging military equipment like they’ve been doing in Germany.
They deserve everything coming their way for protesting in such a Stupid manner.
If pro palestine groups can get in, Russian agents can get in.
Time to tighten security.

I somehow missed that they hadn’t been arrested at the time of the incident, military security is an absolute farce.

Good.
The best deterrent is not just a harsh sentence but the certainty of being caught and brought to trial quickly, which is sure to happen.

Charged under the terrorism act. Reality will be coming down hard on these people. A couple of years when no one is talking about Palestine anymore, they will still be in a high security prisons.
Was it really worth it for the far left kudos.

Hopefully they refuse to engage with the process like just stop oil did and get the maximum sentence possible.
If you feel that strongly smuggle yourself into Palestine but we all know how that would end, far better outcomes are possible from trying to move onto your local traveller site

A long prison sentence needs to be followed by automatic salary garnishments until all costs have been recuperated. And this responsibility to pay it back should be shared by all the leaders of the group who encouraged this, participated in planning, target selection or training.
In what world do we let people destroy our property with no responsibility and obligation to pay for the damage?

How on earth were the able to get in?
That’s the real scandal here.

Traitorous rats. Give them 20 years each. See how cocky they are then.
The ‘action’ of sabotaging the planes falls under s.1(1)(c) and s.1(2)(b) at a minimum.
Being: In this Act “terrorism” means the **use** or threat of **action** where the use or threat is made for the purpose of advancing a **political, religious, racial or ideological cause**. Action falls within this subsection if it involves **serious damage to property**.
So those saying *it requires violence*, nope only an action.
To those who think *it must involve harming people,* nope serious damage to property.
Now if a judge thought the R gangs were disproportionately represented by a certain group of individuals due to advancing a political, religious, racial or ideological cause, it brings a whole new dynamic to the R gangs. Data isn’t racist or islamophobic, no excuses for failing to record ethnic data. Actions based on that data **could** be viewed as discriminatory, but if the data is complete it will back up any actions taken.

For anyone who thinks this event was just a protest and activism, I’d urge checking [The Terrorist Act 2000](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000/11/section/1)
