The whole of grooming gangs scandal is an example of two tier justice system
JoeyJoJoeJr_Shabadoo on
Most of the time I see the phrase used, it’s by people who are either legally illiterate or just being purposefully obtuse to suit their biases. For example the countless comments you can find online about how JSO protesters got jailed for blocking the motorway, but farmers didn’t get jailed for blocking roads, and this is apparently “two tier policing”. Not just a plain fact of there being different laws for motorways…
And of course the geniuses who don’t see a difference between peaceful protest and throwing rocks at a migrant hotel. “How come I can’t set fire to this Syrian man, yet lefties are allowed to hold placards in public spaces? Two tier Kier!”

There is, just not in the way the usual suspects have been duped into thinking about it eg. Reform/Trump supporters. Ironically, and purposefully, the people duping such supporters into spewing their nonsense are the ones that do benefit from a two tier system, because the rich can afford the best solicitors.

He sounds too emotional to be the attorney general, it isn’t for him to say what opinion about the law is ‘disgusting’ – anyone can express any legal opinion they want without him presuming to police our speech in that way.

That’s before even bringing anything else into the conversation.

Arguably there is a Two-teir justice system but not interms of someone’s ethnicity or religion like it’s commonly perceived on social media by the likes of Farage, Tommy Twelve-Names, Tice and Lowe. It’s more to do with how much money and clout someone has. If you look at recent history with the likes of Saville, Harris and more recently the lead singer of lost prophets. You’ll see the lengths the justice system went to protect those people.

There is significant evidence to show judges have a large gender/racial sentencing bias. He’s burying his head in the sand.
Some parties (Labour and Green) have gone as far as to suggest that gender and racial sentencing bias should even be written into the sentencing guidelines.

Tweet a similar message to the one that Lucy Connolly got locked up for, but aim it specifically at white people. Say they all deserve to die or be replaced – get creative! Let’s see how long you get for that. If it’s anything less than the utterly insane 31 months she got, then there’s your answer.

It’s a many-tiered justice system, and everyone is looking at the wrong aspects. Race, class, sex, age, whatever – all of it pales in comparison to the way the criminal justice system works for scum versus functioning members of society.
Basically, the entire system is set up to punish a functional person. You fuck up big style, you lose your licence, your job, your children, maybe your home, your relationship. Prison is devastating for Joe Bloggs. Even bail is very onerous for a normal person.
For scum? Bail is nothing. Crime is nothing. Prison? Sure half their mates are already there. Licence? What licence? Your girlfriend is with you FOR THE DRUGS, she won’t leave you when you get busted. You already only see your kids once a month. Job? Hahahaha hahahaha. Can’t travel to America? Aw, I can’t go to didneywand, wahwahwah. Was never happening in the first place.
Until our criminal justice system is adapted to hammer scum as hard as it hammers normal people, the entire country is going to continue falling. The whole system is set up to deal with normal people because scum didn’t have a long shelf-life hundreds of years ago- they would get murdered or maimed, hanged or transported, or just plain spend 20 years doing hard labour in prison. So now our police, courts and prisons drown in a flood of scum and try to deal with it in a framework that was never designed for it.

The justice system has to take into account many factors in any case. As soon as they look at any additional factor, they are seen as using a ‘two tier’ system. If you were tried of a motoring offence but asked the judge to take into account the fact you had just done a 14 hour shift because your work colleague was off sick, they would. The media is spinning ‘many factors taken into account’ as ‘some people get away with stuff because they are ……. (insert prejudice of choice)’.
Brexit-Broke-Britain on
Complaints about a two tier justice system began after the Farage riots. Yet after the Duggan riots, when courts sat 24 hrs a day and rioters received rapid and harsh sentences, there were no complaints. And after the Bradford riots, courts were also harsh on the rioters but there were no complaints by the majority. And during the Miners strike, with serious disturbances, courts were also harsh.
Surprisingly enough the state takes seriously widespread outbreaks of criminal behaviour. It is only the snowflake Garage rioters and their Reform supporters who don’t like the consequences.
