Georgia municipalities population change (2014-2024)

It looks scary but in my opinion these numbers are nothing to worry about. People moving from small towns and villages to cities is a general tendency throuout the world and this trend will continue (you can look it up in detail) . 3 major cities: Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi have all shown growth. Sure, population growth of Georgia from 2014-2024 from 3.7 to 3.9 million, especially in the big cities may be attributed to non Georgian migrants to major degree, but still demographic decline rate was much worse in 90s and early 2000s mainly due to emigration.
