Today is the Anniversary of The Battle of Kosovo 1389 (28 June/15 June) where Albanian noblemen joined the Balkan coalition to fight against the Ottoman Empire. During the Battle, the Albanian Nobleman Teodor Muzaka II died in battle at Fushë Kosovë. Eternal glory to him. Lavdi!

  1. As Albanians we shouldn’t commemorate this day. The battle was lost and it is pathetic to celebrate it or even commemorate it.

U mans are punch drunk… WTF are you doing?

This battle is soooooooo exaggerated by the Serbs it is meshed with nationalist delirium and myths and not historical truth. It took place in the 14th century not long after the black death and the Ottomans were barely testing the waters in Europe and Europe was also still recovering, their forces were not that big or regular. It was the 15th century where the Ottomans begun to send unbelievably massive armies into Europe regulary, and it was us who stood up to them.

Apart from this battle whcih wasn’t very big, the Serbs had another one where their soldiers got drunk after setting up camp and got slaughtered by the Ottomans whose spies had spotted them. Can’t remember the name, but it was one of the biggest L’s in European medieval history. The Ottomans were outnumbered 20 to 1 and they still completely massacred the Serbs. The Serbs never bring up that one as its an awkward one still, even though it was close enough to this battle hwich which they glorify to the max. And that basically sums up their medieval Ottoman resistance efforts LOL.

  3. Lavdi për secilin që ka luftuar për mbrojtjen e atdheut, por kur vjen puna te perandoria osmane e kemi Skënderbeun.

Ai është një motherfucker i palëkundur në historinë e njerëzimit.

  4. Why not say Serbian army instead of Balkan coalition? Genuinely interested, not trolling.
