GREECE, N.Y. (WROC) — Crosstown Alliance Church held a block party in Greece on Saturday.
The event was held to engage the community in family-friendly fun through a free experience that included bounce houses, games, arts and crafts, food, and a photobooth.
Pastor Ryan Lego told News 8 the church hopes to continue holding the event again in the future, as Saturday’s block party is their first.
“I mean it’s been a blast, people are getting their face painted, kids are running around, people are soaked, we’re sweating in the background. We have lots of kids having a good time, parents are able to sit down, so overall I would say that this is a win,” Lego said.
The event was held at 595 English Road and ran from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
