MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of 18-year-old Devlin Fordley of Malta after a sexual assault investigation. Fordley was charged with second-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child.
Investigators determined that Fordley allegedly had sex with a minor younger than 15 years old on June 16 at a residence in Malta. Deputies took him into custody on Thursday.
Fordley was arraigned before Judge Ellwood Sloat Jr. in Malta Town Court. He was then ordered to be held at the Saratoga County Jail ahead of further court proceedings.
