I understand that tap water can taste pretty bad in Malta 🇲🇹, (even if it’s been filtered?), but I’m not sure if it can actually hurt houseplants. What kind of water do you all use for your plants? Is tap water okay? Any tips on keeping your plants alive? 😄

seriously? Are you really wasting bottled Water for your plants?
Tap water is good for plants, however some plants are more sensitive than others and require bottled water or dehumidifier/ac water.
For the average plant tap water will do.
I always used tap water, definitely not wasting bottled water on my plants 😅 If you can fill a bucket and leave it for 24H before using even better, gives the chlorine enough time to evaporate
I put tap water through a Britta filter for mine to remove chlorine. A Deliciosa is probably hardy enough to be fine with tap water but other more finicky plants may not.
Best stick to Brawndo. It’s what plants crave.
The chlorine in the water isn’t very good for them but most plants can take it. I think more sensitive and smaller plants might suffer if you use it.
Tropical plants tend to suffer with tap water in my experience. I usually use RO water for mine (RO wastewater ends up in a well I use for my garden anyway) and find they do better than when watering directly from the tap.
It’s not good for plants that require acidic soil.
Tap water is only not good for carnivorous plants and maybe orchids due to the high amount of hardness
Voss or fiji only, no less
I use tap water mostly, and water feom my aquarium whrn i change it. That one has nutrients for the plants
