Soldiers from North Macedonia, serving under KFOR’s Regional Command West, are contributing to regional stability through regular patrols in the municipality of Peja, the NATO peacekeeping mission announced, publishing a video on Facebook.

“Patrol remains an essential activity for KFOR troops, carried out with transparency and impartiality. Their continued presence on the ground helps monitor the security situation, foster trust among local communities, and support a safe and secure environment for all,” KFOR said in a statement.

KFOR reiterates that it continues to implement its mandate to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and to freedom of movement, at all times and in an impartial manner. KFOR also emphasizes, as usual, that it works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as responsible for security.
