It’s the latest unusual move for Erwin after he previously spent almost two years in Beirut playing for Lebanese side Al-Ahed.

He’s also played in Iran for Tabriz side Tractor seven years ago, North Macedonia at his most recent club of Gostivari and had two spells in Finnish football with HJK Helsinki and Haka.

The 31-year-old also played in England with Leeds United, where he had two loan spells at Bury and Oldham Athletic.

A statement from Al-Faisaly said: “We are pleased to announce the signing of Scottish striker Lee Erwin for the upcoming season to begin his new career in our Jordanian stadiums wearing the Blue Eagles jersey.

“He has arrived with extensive experience and a professional career in European and Arab clubs. Lee will be a strong addition to our attack for the new season.”
