1. How long does it take to get to Trolltunga? We are fine with hiking back in rain. We are average hikers, made it to Pulpit rock in about 1.5 hours. We are also from northeast US so we are familiar with trails being rock scrambles.
    2. Should we just start at 4am? Or earlier?
    3. Is it okay/safe to hike it while raining? We have all the waterproof hiking gear and clothes

Start at 3 am. to get the sun coming up. Get back with only light spray water.

3-5 Celsius and rain is not fun.

If you get any delay at all, the rain is gonna make it miserable and somewhat dangerous. You traverse a lot of bare rock which becomes slippery when wet, and depending on the level of rain, you might have lowered visibility.

    3. It’s way longer tan Pulpit Rock, around 5 – 6 hours if you have a steady pace. Can be done faster, but it’s a hike for the view after all.
