Here’s a reminder that any U.S. citizens who refused to vote in 2024, because they believed the Russian propaganda of “both parties are the same”, are [redacted].
The non-voters don’t get to complain about ANYTHING for the next 4+ years, because this is partially their fault, even if they’re too stubborn to ever admit it.

Harris would have solved the debt crisis thats been brewing for 50 years for sure. Damn, we almost saved the world. So close

There’s a difference between saying the parties are the same, and admitting that in cases like this, the opposition from Democrats is largely fake and performative.

That is how the uniparty functions.

You see it clearly and plainly in people like Cory Booker.

Here’s the thing. Yes both parties suck but then you vote for the party you’d rather fight against. The party you think you have a better chance of winning against.

    They can hack an election.

We can write a strongly worded letter.

    We are not the same.

“Dems didn’t do enough to stop the BBB, that’s why I won’t vote for them next time either.”

Assuming there *is* a next time.

I hope the Big Beautiful Bullshit hits Trump supporters and people who didn’t vote the hardest.

  9. One party panders to the working class while protecting the rich. One party panders to the minorities while protecting the rich. They are not the same. Just the results.

  10. No no, you see, you have to do the mental gymnastics where you believe all 212 Democrats WANTED this bill to pass. Republicans were able to convince their own party to vote on the bill because Democrats just didn’t care enough this time!

  11. Forward_Bullfrog_441 on

Here goes democrats projecting the blame onto leftists even though they failed in every way to govern responsibly.

Both parties ARE the same. If they’re being lobbied (aka bribed) by the same donors and causes, then this is basically all political theater.

The truth is all the big players are at least millionaires and will also benefit from the tax cuts. Also, they all have so much damn dirt on each other, even if certain players disagree, they do nothing for fear of exposure.

Democrats are not your friends. Maybe some are growing a spine now, but if they really cared Trump shouldn’t have even been allowed to run again. The man literally staged a COUP and nothing happened. Lmao.

Also, 3 dems died in office this year instead of stepping down which gave GOP the majority based on numbers alone. Same shit Ruth Bader Ginsburg did w the Supreme Court.

They are ALL selfish spineless oligarch centrists at best. Paid opposition at worst.

Please make peace with the fact that no one is coming to save us. The wealthy elite in Blue only care about you marginally more than their Red frenemies across the aisle.

The lesser evil is still evil.

America has been getting played since Reagan.

If the numbers in the house were different and the republicans needed one democrat to vote with them they would have found it. It’s not hard to vote against something where your vote doesn’t matter.

  14. destructormuffin on

Both parties are definitely not the same.

The republicans manage to actually enact their agenda.

  16. Kingdom_Priest on

Both parties are controlled by the wealthy and wallstreet. It’s just that one party allows for wallstreet to pillage behind the scenes, while the other party actively work to help the rich pillage society in broad daylight.

  17. Why did the DNC ignore investigating the insurrection higher-ups, for four years? Why did the Epstein evidence sit untouched on a shelf through every single day of DNC’s/Biden’s last run?

What paved the road, to today?

  18. “I state that I hate both sides when I can’t think of the words to defend dumbshit actions by republicans.”

  19. Just willfully ignoring the fact that 3 old Dems died in office this year instead of stepping down which gave them the majority to pass this in the first place, same stupidity as RBG.

  20. Well I for one don’t think it’s an accident it’s so close. It’s ALWAYS this close, it’s a game they play to make us think it’s all above board and legit. It’s not. They’re ALL in collusion and they’re (almost – Bernie et al) ALL owned by their corporate backers. This has been going on for going on 50 years if you paid attention. Now we’re going to see the fruit of our ignorance and it won’t be pretty.

  21. Itchy-Association183 on

Elon helped Trump win the election regardless of who didn’t turn out. They would have just juiced the numbers more. No way Trump won seven swing states. When you plan to win that big. Numbers are the easy part.

  22. PharmPhrenzy on

Yeah well, the democrats could use a good look in the mirror. If we stopped reelecting dinosaurs to congress that have one foot in the grave, we could have had an additional three votes on our side today.

  23. Generally both parties do what the population wants at the time. This party is simply controlling while they have the time too. Red, blue or whatever else is generally not to be trusted at a first sight. Theres always an agenda and i hate people for not seeing that. Nobody is on your side. Just giving you a taste of what you like. Seriously wake up for real.

  24. If you blame voters instead of the shitty campaigns and candidates, you are the problem.

If you want people to vote for you, you need policy and a plan people want. Dems don’t have that. But they will keep putting out the same corporate milqtoast losers

  25. SPONGEBOB_IS_MY_DAD on

I wouldn’t say both parties are exactly the same but I would agree with an analogy I saw on here the other day “My roommate described
Republicans as the mass shooter and Democrats as Uvalde cops, and I can’t get it out of my head”

  26. Well in the US you change party, but you can’t change policy. Your country has been an Oligarchy since Reagan
