Hi dear users. I am planning to visit this beautiful country with my car and campervan trailer. I wanted to clarify where exactly I can dispose legally grey/black water.

I have found google maps with selected places on British caravan site: https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/need-to-dump-in-scandinavia.204439/

link to google maps with places: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1lGBvAByAkNFoZZ0zEVoyx77PSbE&ll=62.043446820535294%2C17.786020857678523&z=5

Could someone please clarify that is okay to do it legally on selected points ?

I appreciate any information, thank you so much !

Best place to dispose grey/black water.

    1. That map looks dated, from glancing at it the closest point to me was moved 5+ years ago from where that map has it pinpointed.

Municipalities are required to have this service available (tho not enforced i belive) and it should not be too hard to find them in general.
Easiest is likely to just google it for the municipality/area you are in for where they are.

Black water can only be dumped at marked dumping sites, there are plenty of them along major roads, and most campsites have them as well. This website (Norwegian only) has as list of locations: [https://bobilplassen.no/tommestasjoner/](https://bobilplassen.no/tommestasjoner/) But you may find more than the ones listed there. At these spots you can also get rid of gray water.

Every municipality is legally required to have emptying points for both black and grey water, so look for the road signs if you don’t find anything on a map. It is illegal to dump black water in nature, while dumping gray water in nature is technically legal, but not recommended. ([Source in Norwegian](https://bobilverden.no/hvor-gjor-du-av-gravannet/))

If you will be staying in campsites along the way, they’ll probably have facilities there that you can use, or at the very least they’ll know where to send you.
