Doesn’t matter. The top brass is happy about the budget cuts. They told us as much, during a company wide meeting. They will not be advocating for more funding…. They want people to lose their jobs. It sucks.
The people in charge of the USA don’t care about anything whatsoever beyond plundering the American people and every other nation in the world. They want cash in their pockets right now – the future be damned.
The 1%, of which these politicians cater to, would be much happier seeing their own private space companies get more funding (indirectly). It wouldn’t surprise me if some of their stocks achieve greater heights than their rockets have in the next few months.
The difference is, NASA used those funds for science; meanwhile these idiots will use it to send other rich idiots to space for tourism and clout.
If there was anything that might nudge the needle in the right direction…this might be it. Some of the smartest people legitimately in the world. All of them. Absolutely brilliant humans. Glad they did it.
