According to Swiss media, more precisely “CHMedia”, the incident occurred after the parent in question lost his temper after a foul against his son, reports “Gazeta Express”.
Harsh reactions followed this ugly gesture by the father of the young Villmergen footballer.
And now, the problematic father has been sentenced by the Aargau Football Association to a three-year ban from all stadiums in the Swiss state, until July 3, 2028, to be exact.
Also, his son’s club, Villmergen, has been fined 3,500 Swiss francs.
Of course, it doesn’t end here for the football player’s parent, as the case remains a judicial matter and the punishment was only related to the sporting aspect.
He is accused of unauthorized entry onto the field and physical assault on a football referee. /Express newspaper
