
The Orlen Group has completed the last contract for the supply of Russian oil to the Czech Republic. From July 1, 2025, all the group’s refineries will only be processed by raw material from outside Russia. This is a historic moment, which means the region’s complete independence from the supply of crude oil from the East. The concern thus implements the strategy of increasing energy security.
Earlier, the company informed about the end of dependence on Russian oil in Polish and Lithuanian refineries, which from April 2023 in 100 percent. They use alternative sources of supply. The last contract with Rosneft, signed 12 years ago, concerned deliveries to the Czech refinery in Litvinov. The president of Orlen Ireneusz Fąfara emphasizes that the concern is currently buying oil from around the world, including the Middle East, the Persian Gulf, the North Sea, Africa and the Americas.

Dobra co to znaczy dla przysłowiowego Kowalskiego? Bo na pewno nie mniejsze ceny benzyn (w to mogę pomarzyć) tylko za tym idzie decyzja czysto polityczna i lepiej wyjść wizerunkowo coś w tym sensie, że nie biorą surowiec od nich itd ?
