  1. I will believe it when I see it.  At present I am convinced the mission of every Republican in Congress is to blast us back to the Stone Age.

Doesn’t mean the appropriations bill has even the slightest chance of being enacted into law. We’ll have a long, long CR and probably a side of impoundment while Congress fades further into irrelevance

The CJS top line from the impromptu subcommittee appropriations meeting tonight had NASA+NSF at FY24 levels. Together the two agencies were 11 billion above the OMB request. The breakdown by category has not been published/leaked yet.

You can write Moran’s accomplishments on a postage stamp, so don’t get too excited.

  5. Shame that all the bullshit political reindeer games have already done enough damage to programs, people and momentum.

  6. Jajaja this gaslighting BS is non-stop and yet it gets published as facts. Sadly, we deserve this horrible time in history.

    1) We’re gonna fire all the workers helping veterans

    2) We’re not gonna fire all the workers helping veterans

    3) We’re gonna fire all the workers helping veterans

This works for tariffs too apparently

  8. Was this just smoke and mirrors to reduce the deficit and get this garbage passed then? You cut their budget by half, which is over ten billion dollars, then just just kidding we just wanted to “reduce spending” wink, wink.

Am I missing something or is this kind of naked corruption just normal now?
