At least they might investigate your robbery if you got stabbed to death, minor win.

Why isn’t sadiq talking about these issues weekly? Stabbed to death in knightsbridge for a watch.
We need fewer met police investigating tweets and working from home and more officers on the street searching masked young men and being visible. We need smart people to seriously address this.

These drones are getting scary, a murder probe sounds nasty to deal with.

Waiting for the identity to be released so we can determine if this is terrorism or not

Gotta crack down on minor crimes and crimes from kids. If you’re a kid getting away with stealing phones and merchandise from shops, you’re not going to stop. It will only escalate. If you get caught and penalized, at least there’s the chance that they might have to reevaluate their life.

Quickly Sadiq, better tell Rolex they have to start making their watches look like plastic Casios. Because after all, that’s easier than tackling crime.

Police told the victim to report it to his insurance company because they are too busy trying to find hardened criminals saying mean things on Facebook…

24 years old. Still a young boy. RIP to him and I hope his family find peace.

Broken window effect.
When you don’t go after the small offenses like ticket fare dodging, petty theft and burglary; it lays the foundation of criminal action which escalates more serious crime.

“It’s kind of sad being in London not being able to wear your expensive jewellery” – this comment from the article takes the biscuit.

I was up town this week for the first time in a year and I was shocked at the state of main shopping areas. Oxford Street plagued by boom boxed tuktuks up and down the street and lined up blasting outside Selfridges main doors. Most main underground stations with clearly migrants (full canada goose winter jackets on in 26 degees and hoods up) hanging around in significant numbers, Hi and I, Knightsbridge etc and every Uber delivery bike driven by Rab jacket wearing males with hoods up and full face balaclavas on so cant be identified.
Not a police officer to be seen and the only thing now hinting youre in London are cheap Union flags drapped across some selective streets.
My days of a nice shopping trip up town and a long lunch are now definately over and theres absolutely no hint of any store now retaining their ‘flagship’ status. Its a shoplifting, scammers, pickpocketing paradise with zero law enforcement.
Devastating, and thoughts with the family and friends of the victim, but Khan will do nothing. Hes celebrating his ‘new London’.

I know at least 3 different **very** wealthy people that no longer go on holiday to London, the sort that spend £5k+ a night on hotels, because they don’t think it’s safe.
These are exactly the sort of people the UK should want visiting, they arrive, pump £10,000s into the local economy (a lot going straight to tax) and they leave again. But stories like this will only put more people off.
The hospitality sector in the UK is already struggling, and this is just going to make it even worse.

Why is wearing balaclavas in public not illegal? Only those about to commit a crime are doing it
