      Topuria is universally loved, there is small majority of people(Georgian version of MAGAs) who dislike him but they would never admit it openly and only say shit anonymously on TikTok.

      Merab is pretty controversial (not straight trash, like the other commenter said) a lot of people still really love him but there’s also a pretty big group of people who dislike him for his political views(rightfully so).

      Love those two and their stories, they are directly the result of events of 90s to a point that Topuria is from an Abkhazia refuge family, the represent our issues well in their story in a way

      I love both of them, I believe that they have positive influence on Georgia’s youth and they are true professionals in their fields

      Topuria is pretty much universally loved. Of course everyone has their haters.

      This is true for Merab too. But he is kind of in the middle of a crossfire. Basically radical one side leaners dislike him, just because he met and posed for pictures with the ruling party ( including many people on this sub).
      And basically people on the opposite radical side dislike him because he cursed Stalin and supports Ukraine etc.

      So yeah, but this is just a small portion of the population really, regardless of what they’ll tell you.
