I visited Norway’s smallest community, and found a beacon of hope for humanity.

Utsira is the smallest *kommune* in Norway, home to around 200 islanders – 14.4% of whom are Ukrainian refugees. I visited Utsira as a Ukrainian- and Norwegian-speaking American to learn how this happened and how everyone is getting along.
