Californian wine stalwart O’Neill Vintners & Distillers has lined up the launch of its own energy drinks brand in the US.
The company, which is headquartered in Larkspur, just north of San Francisco, has unveiled Catalyst, a new-to-market brand that contains 120mg of caffeine and zero sugar per 35.5cl can. Comprising six variants – Citrus Spark, Fruit Fusion, Grapefruit Frost, Orange Dream, PomPower and SuperBerry – Catalyst will be available through “select” retailers as well as online.
The brand carries an SRP of US$2.99 per individual can and $32.99 per 12-pack.
“Our goal with Catalyst is to offer an energy drink that doesn’t compromise on health, flavour or efficacy,” said founder & CEO Jeff O’Neill. “We’re proud to introduce a product that embodies our commitment to innovation and quality.”
Back in 2022, O’Neill Vintners & Distillers spent an undisclosed sum on Fitvine, a six-varietal brand that is low in sugar, tannins and sulfites.
