  1. Failing to vaccinate your child should be classed as child abuse in the highest degree.

They’re children. They can’t seek medical help. But if they could, it is reasonable to assume that they would want a small injection that may save their lives. Any parent that fails to provide that is knowingly endangered their child’s life, be it for their bullshit beliefs or just general lack of fucks to give about their own kid.

I’ve always thought that children should be able to sue their parents if they end up with health problems because of their parents’ negligence or poor decision making

Eg, children who caught vaccine-preventable diseases who weren’t vaccinated according to the NHS’ vaccination schedule. Or children of drug addicts who ended up with birth defects because of their parent’s drug use during pregnancy (such as with FAS), children of parents who used alternative/homeopathic medicine instead of evidence based medicine, etc

  3. Children who don’t get their children vaccinated should be prosecuted for child abuse.

Purveyors of anti-vaccination content should be treated more harshly than they are.

One thing I have never got is anti-vaccine in this country it’s in the government’s best interest to prevent illness it’s the whole reason cigarettes where put under so much scrutiny and now can’t advertise, so I just assume it’s people payed by American healthcare to try and get rid of the NHS

  6. Anyone who doesn’t vax should have to sign a waiver saying they’re liable for manslaughter. Simple really

It doesn’t say how old the child was. Measles has always been rife under the age of vaccination.

There needs to be serious consideration about mandatory vaccination because it’s a serious health risk that isn’t being addressed.

It’s not just those who declined vaccination that are at risk to themselves, but the immunocompromised, or those too young for vaccination, who are put at serious risk.
Ideally, herd immunity should stamp out transmission, you shouldn’t even come into contact with these diseases to even put your immunity to the test, which is how those who are vulnerable are kept safe. It’s is the social responsibility of everyone to be vaccinated to keep everyone safe.

I don’t want my one year old baby getting measles because some clowns didn’t vaccinate their children when they were supposed to and their families are spreading it around the schools and nurseries.

    Make vaccination compulsory.
