The lifeless bodies of a 12-year-old child and two men, aged 43 and 63, were found in a house in the center of Prilep, the Prilep prosecutor’s office announced today.
According to initial information from the crime scene, the 63-year-old first took the lives of his nephew and his son due to family disagreements and unresolved property issues.
“After committing the crime, he posted his motives for what he did on a social media platform and then committed suicide,” the statement said.
According to the police, 63-year-old P. Đ. committed suicide after police raided his house following a report from the murdered 47-year-old’s wife, who suspected something terrible was happening.
Initial information suggests that yesterday around 15.00:13 PM, P. Đ. from Prilep invited his nephew P. Č. from Prilep to visit him, but he insisted on taking his minor XNUMX-year-old son with him.
“According to initial information and eyewitness accounts held by the Prilep Police Department, between 15.30:16.00 and XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., shots were heard in the immediate vicinity of the now deceased P.D.’s house (most likely this was the moment of the murder in which P.D. shot his nephew and his minor son), but until then, the police had not received any reports of any shooting in the Prilep area,” the statement reads.
It is added that, according to information obtained by the police, a Facebook profile that is assumed to have been created and belongs to Uncle P. Đ. posted a status with suspicious content at 17.10:XNUMX p.m., in which his sister and nephew were named, and based on the time of posting, it is assumed that the status was posted after the murder of his nephew and his minor son.
After failing to reach her husband by phone, she went to her husband’s uncle’s house and saw that her husband’s car was parked outside, but the door was locked and no one answered.
When the police received the report at 21.20:63 p.m. last night, the police team immediately headed to the XNUMX-year-old’s house, but after no one answered, they broke in after consulting with the prosecutor.
“When they entered the house, P. Đ. threw a bomb at them, which started to smoke, but did not explode. After the police officers left the house, he shot at them, and the police officers returned fire from their service weapons towards the house and reported by radio at 22.40:XNUMX p.m. that they had been shot at, and after a short time, P. Đ. committed suicide with a firearm,” the police statement reads.
