QMK: Four active fires in the territory of North Macedonia

By noon yesterday, a total of 14 open-air fires had been recorded in the country.
The Directorate for Protection and Rescue announced that four of them were still active – in the municipality of Dojran, near the village of Nikolic, where a low forest is burning, in the municipality of Caska where there is smoke in a rocky area without visible flames, in Kumanovo in the Preovce area where low vegetation is burning, as well as in the old Nagoricani.
Citizens received an SMS message about the declared state of emergency due to the fires, with a notice prohibiting movement in the forests.
The Crisis Management Center explained that this was a test message, sent with the aim of checking the system for mass notification of the population in case of crisis situations.
