The one on the right is from the original 1994 issue, the one on the left is from a 2018 reissue with upgraded anti-counterfeiting features. Both are legal tender.
Both are valid, the left one is just a newer design
Never seen bank notes getting updated/upgraded from time to time?

Same thing happened to $100 dollar bill it’s just upgraded with security features
