An upcoming Mumford & Sons concert had originally been scheduled for the Piedmont Interstate Fairgrounds in Spartanburg this summer but now has a sudden venue change.
The highly anticipated Spartanburg concert featuring the British folk-rock band has been moved to the CCNB Amphitheatre on August 4 in Simpsonville, but will now also host Darius Rucker, former lead singer and guitarist of Hootie & The Blowfish.
The sudden location and venue change took place within a three-day timespan as according to a social media post, the city of Spartanburg, Piedmont Interstate Fair Association and OneSpartanburg were notified of a cancellation of the Railroad Tour Concert by Live Nation on July 11:
The post also mentioned that live tickets were still available on a few ticket resale platforms including Ticketmaster.com and urged individuals to be cautious in purchasing.
