Don’t lose time on ethnic stats… that brings to nowhere… people’s bodies are different : get used to it.

Surprising that Montreal has less indigenous people than Calgary and Vancouver given that those cities have reservations near the census area. I thought the proportion would be similar.

Why Black instead of African? Also, are mixed people included in Other?

I’m honestly shocked by how many indigenous people are in Ottawa-Gatineau. Grew up there and never really met any until moving out west.
This is severely outdated
Nice graph, well done.
Ottawa and Montreal’s ethnic demogaraphics are more similar than I had realized – that’s quite interesting. Easily the most similar pairing on here.
I need to know what you consider “greater calgary”. airdrie and cochrane I guess. but nobody says “greater calgary”
I miss Toronto every day. Being in a 96% white-European-background smaller city sucks, even if I am “European” background.
Er… how is Latin American not European? Thinking about this a bit, the label “European” is really ambiguous.
