Each line represents a fighter Usyk has faced, with their career record plotted over time (win = +1, loss = –1, draw = 0). The vertical bar marks the fight where they (first) faced Usyk — what I've called the "Usyk Filter."
Made with D3js (+html/css).

Never seen a graph like this … really cool
Absolutely beautiful graph and amazing idea. My only concern is, how similar are other elite boxer’s charts to this one? Or is this a trend specific to Usyk?
Since most boxers fight cans (“easy” fights) for most of their early careers, wouldn’t most of them have a long building-period, have a peak and then a sudden drop off? So wouldn’t most elite fighters have opponents drop off like this?
I feel like most fighters get up to 20-0/25-1 or something along those lines before facing other guys with similar records. Does someone like Tyson Fury, before his recent losses, have a similar chart to this?
I like the graph, but im curious about the premise. Doesn’t this apply to most good fighters. Most of these guys get big off beating no-names, then after they inevitably get popped by someone with actual talent, they sokn retire or fall off.
