Another return operation for 40 foreigners was organised by the Border Guard in cooperation with Frontex. On board the plane, which took off from Radom on 15 July, 27 Georgians and 13 Moldovan citizens were forcibly removed from Poland.

Among the Georgians, 20 people received compulsory return decisions because of national defence or security considerations or the protection of public safety and order. In the case of Moldovan citizens, there were nine men. One of the Georgians had 12 court convictions for theftwhile other foreigners were detained for, among other things, driving under the influence and illegal residence in Poland. Among the foreigners were also accomplices and co-organisers of illegal border crossings for other foreigners, as well as people who changed their personal data in order to enter Poland.

The foreigners were escorted by officers from the Border Guard’s security division. Since the beginning of the year, over 4,600 foreigners have left Poland, either voluntarily or under duress.

    1. Question from me: Why does it take 12(!) convictions for someone to get deported? Wrong answers only.
