yeah, they never mentioned how much Polish contribution to the EU budget will be – in 2024 alone Poland paid over 7.6 billion euro into the EU budget (“Polska składka do EU”) and received over 10 billion euros in transfers from the EU (there were some other transfers from Poland to the EU that finally gave a figure of about 1,6 billion euro balance of transfers from the Polish budget to the EU budget – for comparison the Polish budget income in 2024 was about 150 billion euro)

however I guess the figure of 10 billion eruo that Poland received from the EU doesn’t include the funds that are called “KPO” in Polish politics (can’t remember the English name of the scheme)

    2. The proposed budget includes a fivefold increase in defense spending, reflecting the EU’s heightened focus on security amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.

      Yup check out

When the shit hits the fan, we will be the EU’s shield. I guess it’s better to have a strong shield?

    4. Don’t know whether this is good or bad. What would the EU expect from Poland in return???

by the way it’s only a draft – real negotiations probably never even started yet – the EU budget has to be also accepted by the Europarliament, don’t it?

It’s probabley a safe bet to spend money on Poland. Our currency is stable, our security situation is stable. Our food production is magnificent. Highly motivated to kick ass as well- unlike many Western European nations…

Lol. And they will still complain and scream ‘Germany is stealing from us!’. Can’t make this shit up. Poland would be even more of a backwater shit hole if not for the EU.
