An expected consequence of proscribing Palestine Action. Any organisation with “Palestine” in its name will face significant scrutiny because if any of them has any link to Palestine Action, even if the transaction took place before the order came into effect, the bank will face very significant fines and even criminal charges against bank staff are not out of the question.
Which is why unlike what the government said, proscribing the group has a chilling effect on the right to protest and the right to free speech.
(For the record I don’t support Pal Action)

Good! My friend was responsible for a notable attack on a business **accused** of selling weapons to Isreal, which they were not. Thankfully, she is remorseful. These people are simply ill informed, idealistic and bored. This movement and these leftist propaganda needs to be stamped out. People who feel the need to get involved MUST do enough research into what they’re doing and why. The reality is that they’re all too often influenced by those who don’t care to understand the complexities of the world and act based on a thin, naive and abstract idealistic view of the world.
Edit: Isreal bad, my friend told me so. Make your own minds up by looking into the history sheeple.
Go and look at the [uncensored truth](https://www.hamas-massacre.net) of innocent youths gunned down before you conclude there’s only one aggressor
Sorry but you’ll just get to down vote me once on this post as I’ve deleted the other for brigading. It’s fascinating to see how many people are so willing to ignore the other side. Am I the one at fault for not condemning the Israelis or are you guilty of jumping to easy conclusions on an extremely complex subject?

>But Mick Napier, from Scottish PSC’s finance committee, said it had acted disgracefully. He said Scottish PSC was told the reason for its account being frozen last month was that it had a button on its website to donate to Palestine Action before the group was banned on 5 July. But the button was removed when Palestine Action was proscribed and yet the account had not been restored, said Napier.
Why does it feel like this was never really about Palestine Action, and that they were just looking for a group to give them an excuse to crack down on all pro-Palestinian orgs?

This is absolutely the intent of the lobbying that got Palestine Action proscribed – they want to make it impractical to support Palestine against Israeli aggression, by pretending that any support for Palestine is support for Palestine Action and therefore illegal.
Meanwhile, crickets and tumbleweed when you ask whether it’s state sponsored terrorism to commit war crimes or to support the state that’s doing so.
