Serwer on security in Kosovo: KSF will probably have great responsibilities very soon

Balkan political expert Daniel Serwer has given an assessment of developments in the region.
In a response to klankosova.tv, he stated that Kosovo is currently doing well in terms of the security situation.
“Kosovo is fine for now,” he says.
“But I don’t know how much longer the United States will want to maintain its troop presence.”
Regarding the US president’s statements that an escalation in Kosovo was recently prevented, the Johns Hopkins professor stated that the KSF will soon have additional obligations in security management.
“There are much bigger problems in the world.”
“The FSK will one day, perhaps very soon, have great responsibilities,” he told klankosova.tv.
According to him, although Kosovo remains a priority for international allies, the greater interests of the US may influence the further engagement of American troops in the region.
