The “Joy in the Journey” exhibition will be on display through July 24 at the Aiken Center for the Arts, 122 Laurens St. S.W. The program serves community members and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. 

Auditions for “Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors” will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 20, and Monday, July 21, at Chapin Theatre, 830 Columbia Ave., Chapin. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and some movement. The show runs Oct. 3-19. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.

Music at the Morris featuring Gwen Hughes will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20, at the Morris Museum of Art, 1 10th St., Augusta. There is no cost to attend. Vocalist, songwriter, and actress Gwen Hughes has sung at venues throughout the world, from Paris to Nairobi, and now she’s singing jazz, pop, Motown classics, and original songs at the Morris. Quakers (Religious Society of Friends) will hold virtual service on Sunday, July 20. Meeting is open to all and visitors are warmly welcomed. JULY 21

The Savannah River Stringband will meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, July 21, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2724 Whiskey Road. The band plays mostly instrumental tunes from Celtic to traditional American music. Acoustic instruments including guitars, banjos, mandolins, ukuleles, hammered dulcimers, harmonicas and more are welcome.

A Cool Kids Comic Club will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 21, at Richland Library, St. Andrews Children’s Area, 2916 Broad River Road, Columbia.
